My junior year of high school, all 40 people in my leadership class wrote anonymous Valentine’s Day notes to everyone in the class. About a third of the notes I received said I was “down to Earth.” This feels a little more like a compliment every day.
Anyways, I’ve written a lot of bios for things, so here are some of them…
Antonia Washington graduated from Harvard College in the spring of 2018 with a degree in sociology and a minor in government. Originally from Portland, Oregon, she enjoys shlepping through the wilderness on all kinds of outdoor adventure—though she is not much of a skier, to her great shame as an Oregonian—and she loves to travel.
Antonia put these passions to use as a writer for Let’s Go travel guides in 2017. According to her bio with Let’s Go, “Antonia spent her summer collecting tourist keychains she has no use for throughout Austria, Hungary, Slovakia, and Germany. Catch Antonia pretending to know a lot about wine, looking fly in white Crocs, and pleading for her mom’s REI dividend.”
Meanwhile, according to a bio she wrote for her journalism class in high school, “Antonia obsesses over movies, enjoys rearranging the candy section at the grocery store, and spends her time playing basketball. After college, Antonia’s plan is to road-trip to every state in the U.S. and live off the nickels she had originally intended for the Wonderland arcade.”
I’m still working on the roadtrip thing.
